Here at catskill mountain springs, we aim to provide a personalized spiritually immersive experience to all of our guests. Our day retreats include multiple yoga classes, workshops and ayurvedic meals that are scheduled throughout the day. customizable time slots will be included in the schedule designated for your choice between hikes, spa sessions, cold plunges, wellness treatments, and more.

Ayurvedic Principles

The Yoga retreats held here at catskill mountain springs follow an ayurvedic lifestyle . In sanskrit, ayurveda means, “the science of life.” it is considered by many to be one of the oldest known healing practices. ayurveda is a raw ancient form of preventative medicine. it promotes the belief that one’s health and overall state of being is dependent on the delicate bond of energy between the mind, body, spirit, and natural world. common ayurvedic practices include yoga and a diet that adapts to your needs. As our mind, body, and spirit must adapt to our environment, so must our diet.

Brunch Sample menu

Yogurt Parfait:

your choce of local or vegan yogurt with ayurvedic blended granola and fresh fruit

Shakshuka:

egg bake with onions, tomatoes, peppers and warming spices, topped with herbs and feta. served with freshly baked pita

warm porridge:

lighly sweetened with local maple syrup infused with cinnamon and cardamom, finished with raisins, nuts and seasonal fruit

Wedge salad:

Wedge of iceberg with creamy tarragon sherry vinaigrette (vegan). served with cherry tomatoes. option to add blue cheese.

Beet salad:

Mixed colored beets served on a bed of arugula.,topped with whipped goat cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette

Falafel and hummus platter:

homemade falafel, quinoa tabouli salad, beet hummus, topped with herbs. served with freshly baked pita
